EU Parliament adopts Cyber Resilience Act

The European Parliament today took an important step toward improving cybersecurity by adopting the Cyber Resilience Act. The act promises stronger security measures for all digital products in the EU, protecting everything from network devices to industrial machines.

Lead MEP Nicola Danti rightly emphasizes the significance of the law for a safer and more resilient EU. With overwhelming support in Parliament - 517 votes in favor, 12 against and 78 abstentions - we are now one step closer to implementing these important cybersecurity measures.

What happens next? The formal adoption by the Council, which will bring the realization of this law even closer.
